England's not the surprise

Even though their form on the pitch and their lack of an appearance at Euro 2008 tells us, logically, that they shouldn’t be sure-fire seeds, we knew England was a lock.

I just posted on the main blog about this, but France not being seeds seems to be clearly, CLEARLY something that would not have happened before L’Affaire Henry.

Thanks for the fan post! I love the level of dialog on the blog.
